Another Great Partnership!

Restaurants Association of IrelandJust-Eat Ireland is less than two years old, but already we have made some very important leaps in terms of building relationships with key bodies within our industry. We have a collaboration agreement with Coca-Cola HBC Ireland, as well as being members of the Quick Service Food Alliance and Irish Internet Association. Today we add to that list by announcing a working partnership with the Restaurants Association of Ireland.
We at Just-Eat Ireland take ordering food online very seriously, and we believe that by being an active part of both the internet and food service industries we will ensure we become a driving force in raising standards across the board. Consumers demand convenience, choice and excellent service. It’s our belief that mid-range restaurants who are suffering a downturn in sit-in trade should really start looking at offering their own delivery solutions and diversify. There has always been a reluctance to do this as many restaurants fear delivery will somehow devalue their brand or dilute the experience of eating their food. However, we believe it doesn’t have to be that way. We believe that by offering a specific delivery menu, focusing on food that will travel and giving the customer choice, will reap the rewards. It’s a fact that during an economic downturn consumers are spending less in restaurants and more at home. Restaurants need to recognise that, and cater to the demand.
Hopefully, through this relationship we can assist restaurants in getting delivery orders via the internet, whilst giving our users a greater choice. Here’s to an exciting future on Just-Eat.ie!
