Hello. My name is Beata Barylka and I am the Online Marketing Executive for JustEat.ie. I joined the company in January of this year and I truly love working for JustEat. I mainly enjoy my role as I am exposed to various different tasks and it is never boring at JustEat! It is great to be a part of this success story having great fun at the same time. However, don’t think we are only having a laugh *all* the time as we work hard but ‘the smart way’ BOOM BOOM.
My role as Online Marketing Exec ranges from: Web/Print Design, Web Programming, eCRM (i.e. Newsletters), Affiliate Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Social Media etc. Sometimes it even involves a bit of Photography, Film Making and Travel as well.

As a Deaf person, JustEat.ie has changed my life. When I used to live with my parents, it was highly embarrassing having to ask my folks, or my brother to ring for a takeaway for me, especially if I had had one the previous evening too. It was also inconvenient having to find someone to telephone an order for me, and if no one was at home I had to text one of my other brothers or a hearing friend and ask them to order on my behalf. It made me feel really embarrassed to be so reliant on others.
One day whilst surfing the Internet, I somehow came across an advertisement for JustEat and had to check it out. It seemed like it was a website made for me, and for people who were Deaf like me. I couldn’t believe it to was real. I waited for the weekend to come and tried it out, within half an hour the food was at my door. My dad asked how I had ordered it, and I explained it to him. He thought it was a genius idea as well. Immediately, I texted my friends and told them all about it, and now it’s used by a lot of Deaf people.
Ever since I moved out of home and into my own place, it has been so handy. It’s great being independent and ordering a takeaway online whenever I feel like it and not have to rely on others. My only issue now is that only a couple of takeaways in Rush are signed up but I’ll continue pestering others to join.

We are delighted to announce that the JustEat.ie iPhone mobile site is now accepting card payments. Due to high demand our Tech Team were locked away for a number of weeks to get this working for you and they have cracked it! It is now live, check it out on your iPhone – type in http://www.JustEat.ie and see what happens.
It’s never been easier to order from JustEat.ie, our mobile site will only display restaurants/takeaways that are open at the time of searching, making it uber easy for you to choose what delivery restaurant to order from. You can now order on your iPhone on your evening commute, order on your way home and have your food delivered by the time you get home.
The next stage of mobile site development is for the Android market, we hope to disclose a date for launch in the coming weeks. Needless to say our Tech Team are working hard to deliver you all versions of JustEat.ie mobile site as soon as possible (even for Blackberry).
