Just-Eat, the world’s largest online takeaway ordering service, today announced the closure of a financing round of €48m led by funds managed by Vitruvian Partners. This investment marks the Company’s third and largest funding round in less than two years and will be used to continue Just-Eat’s growth, entries into new countries and product innovation, further cementing its global leadership in the online takeaway category.

Just-Eat.ie is Irelands biggest online food ordering portal. Partnered with over one thousand delivery restaurants across the country, Just-Eat use proprietary technology to offer customers a secure and efficient online ordering service.

With features on TV3’s The Apprentice and significant investment in TV, Radio and out door advertising, Just-Eat has become the number one choice for consumers seeking to order a variety of cuisine types for delivery to their door.

According to Just Eat Managing Director Brian Hickey, “We are delighted with this latest round of financing. Not only will it fund our international expansion and product development, it will strengthen our ability to invest in the Just-Eat brand so that more Irish consumers can reap the benefits of ordering their food online.
