Just-Eat Wishes ITICA The Best Success… 0

Posted on February 24, 2010 by James Galvin

The Irish Traditional Italian Chippers Association (ITICA) officially launched in Dublin yesterday. ITICA was created to promote and build on the traditional values and ethos of it’s members, who have been instrumental in driving the Irish/Italian chipper culture since the 1880’s. All members of this community come from the villages in Val Di Comino in Southern Italy, and names such as Borza, Aprille, Marsella and Macari are now well known across the country as great quality local chippers.
I had the personal pleasure of meeting a number of their committee members last week, and am inspired to see a cohesive attempt to unite independent Irish/Italian chippers across the country to combine their individual powers into a formidable force within the quick service food industry.
Just-Eat Ireland wishes the association all the best of luck for the future.
